Our Design Process

Premier Outdoor Environments has been serving clients for over fifteen years. We know that any home project can become overwhelming, so our process keeps your stress to a minimum. We provide a single point of contact for each project and are available to answer your questions by phone or email. Here we provide an example of what you can expect while working together.

1Consultation

Our award winning designers will come to your home and talk through design solutions for your home.

2Design Retainer

Now that we’ve met (and you love us), please sign and pay the retainer, and provide us with your plat of survey. Once all of this is received, the design process can begin.

3Project Design

A thorough and comprehensive design incorporating all your needs and wants is underway. Expect the design process to take 3-5 weeks to complete.

4Presentation & Estimate

The design is complete! We’ll meet at your home or our showroom to present the plans and/or renderings, and provide you with the estimate for the construction and installation of your project. Our showroom has grills, appliances, accessories and lighting on display. Come check it out!

5Revisions

This is the time to make any design changes as needed to get the design exactly as you want it. Revisions can take +/- 2 weeks to complete.

6Acceptance

Once all revisions have been made and you are ready to move forward we require a signed contract and deposit to reserve a spot on the calendar.

7Scheduling

All projects are scheduled first come, first serve. Please understand that scheduling is a fluid process, that is contingent upon weather conditions, current project delays, subcontractor schedules, etc.

8Permitting

Our office will apply for all permits required by the village/city. Permitting can take several weeks to a few months, depending on the village/city.
